Through our more than 70 years experience with the Flokati and inspired by it, we introduced our worldwide unique Checkers shaggy rugs, which combine on their surface in various designs squares of Flokati and squares of twisted and high loop pile. Alike Flokati, all our Checkers shaggies are hand-woven using our highly customized hand-operated shuttle looms.
Hand Woven made of 100% Pure New Wool pile using the finest NZ wool in Qualities (weight per m2) from 1800gr/m2 up to 3000gr/m2.
The Checkers shag rugs pass through the exact same with the Flokati totally natural final processing in the water milling workshop, being performed under high water pressure in the river streams.

Our production line is very flexible and we are able to combine the production of different sizes with a common dimension and moreover within different qualities (e.g. 1300, 2000, 3000gr/m2 etc.) and within different products (Flokati, Elegant, Checkers, Wide stripes, Short Stripes and Border Lines).
